Synthesis of a long way that led us to apply the dictates of integrated agriculture and to analyze every aspect of the productive activities in vineyards and in cellar on December 28, 2020 we obtained the certification ISO 14064-1:2018 Carbon Footprint. This is just a step because our commitment towards the environment continues.
Carbon footprint certification, know us climate footprint, is a environmental indicator that measure the quantity greenhouse gasses generated by the activity of the farming estate whose reduction resulted in an improvement of the energy efficiency, of the resources.
The certification route allowed us to identify sources and to reduce the intensity of CO2 emission, taking part busily to change requisite for the environment.
The obligation towards the environmental sustainability is our primary aim, buying only electricity from renewable sources.
We collaborate whit “CENTRO STUDI ECONOMIA APPLICATA ALL’INGEGNERIA” of the Catania University, wherewith together with oter companies of the supply chain viticolture and agri-food created an association to achieve during 2021 a phytodepuration system.
